Rocky was in a fight with one of the barn cats. There might be a permanent problem with one of his eyes, but it might turn out okay. Too soon to tell. He acts fine, but he looks not so great.

Check out the cornstarch peanuts. They're not that expensive. Around here, U-Haul stores carry them.

I don't think field corn is a good idea because it could be swallowed and cause a blockage.

You want to use something that is either too big to swallow, too small to cause a problem, or something that will digest (like cornstarch peanuts). The best dig boxes are: cornstarch peanuts, ping pong balls, long-cook rice, bigger plastic balls like in the kid's ball pit, sand (makes a mess though), sanitized dirt, shredded paper. You can also use raffia (the stuff they make baskets out of, you can get it at a craft store) and hide treats inside. The cornstarch peanuts are the most fun. The rice seems to last the longest.
